Makeup first steps (1) skin

What are the basics for facial makeup? 
First of all, recognize your skin type (Combination / Normal / oily / dry / sensitive / acne prone) and buy specific products. Keep in mind that neither the product of the trendiest makeup will work if it is not for YOUR skin type.
