the pillars of Islam

the pillars of practice of Islam are the framework of the Muslim life: faith, prayer, concern for the needy (zakat), self-purification (fasting) and the pilgrimage to Makkah for those who have possessions to do so.                                                                                                                                                                                1 - The Witness:       The witness is the proclamation of faith is the key that makes the human being log in Islam. He gives, firstly, by acceptance of its meaning by heart and reason, eliminating thus the doubt, and secondly, by his speech through speech. The testimony encompasses the Islamic belief, when we pronounce the first part which is:'' an Ach-hadu there ilaha il Allah it'' Description:'' I bear witness that there is no other deity besides God'' And we make sure our complete belief in the oneness of God, ie, in the oneness of God in creation, in Divine unity (ie, worship) and the uniqueness of the Names and Attributes of God. This ruling dismisses the worship of anything else we might be tempted to put in place the One God as idols, such as acts of nature, power, wealth and the like, God says in the Qur'an: "God bears witness that there is no god besides Him, the angels and the wise The Punisher confirm, there is no god but He, the Mighty, the Wise. " (Quran 3:18) "... With the exception of those who claim to truth and knowledge." (Quran 43:86) This sentence is the basis on which the whole Islamic system (religion) will be constructed, thus, is the first obligation of the believer, ie your conscious acceptance. E is complete, as acceptance of what was legislated by God, when we pronounce the second part which is: "Ach-hadu an-on-Muhammadan Rassul Allah" Translation: "I bear witness that Muhammad is His Messenger" to certify that Muhammad ( Peace and blessings be upon him) is the last messenger of God, and hence it implies acceptance of Muslim everything he told us how belief in angels, the revealed books, the messengers, the Day of Judgement and predestination. This sentence can not create any change in human life is only spoken without conviction, without realizing it its real meaning, and especially without it being put into practice. It is as if we were hungry and we limited ourselves to repeat the word food. This does not do any good, because we would remain hungry. The real strength of this sentence is on your conscious and complete acceptance and putting it into practice. 2 - The Prayer: Prayer is the first of worship instituted by God in Islam. And such is their importance that was the one that was sent to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) through the Archangel Gabriel (peace be upon him) here on earth. The transmission took place in the sky, made directly by God and His Messenger, in the events known as Al Isra (The Night journey) and Al Miraj (Ascension). Prayer is mentioned in the Quran over 117 times, its purpose is expressed in this verse. "I am God. There is no god but Me! Worship Me, therefore, and observe prayer, to celebrate my name." (Quran 20:14) The obligation of prayer came expressed both in the Qur'an and in the Sunnah (sayings and practices of Prophet Muhammad may the Peace and Blessing of Allah be upon him). "Prayer is a prescribed obligation to believers, to be fulfilled in due time." (Quran 4:103) The way to do it was passed by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) through the Sunnah. Said the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), "Pray as you have seen me praying." Prayer is regarded as the fundamental basis of religion. Said Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "To the Muslim fall into heresy and atheism, he only just fails to comply with prayers." God instituted five obligatory daily prayers, where a Muslim establishes a link, a direct link between him and God, without the need for intermediaries to it, where he expressed his gratitude and love for God, strengthening, thus, the heart, body and spirit. Islamic prayer is a perfect set, where the Muslim achieves several benefits, the spiritual part, he achieves peace of mind raising it, the physical part, it performs a daily exercise through their movements, thereby benefiting your body and is a stimulus to the use of his reason, from the moment you have to know what it says in prayer, reasoning upon the verses that are recited in prayer. Therefore, the Muslim who practices the five daily prayers is strengthening, five times a day, the belief on which rests his faith, since the practice of prayer is one of the biggest signs of faith, and the most obvious proof of gratitude to God for His countless graces. In these moments, the Muslim is reminded that God is watching and your everyday, so behavior, he will seek to move away from anything that is illegal and do whatever pleases God. "Recite what has been revealed of the Book and observe prayer, because prayer preserves the (man) of obscenity and illegal;., But in fact, the remembrance of Allah is the most important Allah is aware of everything you do. " (Quran 29:45) "Seek help yourselves in patience and prayer. Verily it (the prayer) is heavy load, except for the humble, who know that they will find their Lord and He will return." (Quran 2:45-46) We must always bear in mind that God does not need our prayer because He is free of any need. We, on the contrary, is that we need it because it brings many benefits, as already seen, along with several others, such as be printing organization, discipline, perseverance and order in our lives. Prayer trains us all the virtues that make possible the development of a happy person, providing us with balance and inner peace. Islam is a social religion, so it is a doctrine that gathers and aggregates, creates the group and the community. Thus we can verify the encouragement of prayer group, where Muslims are aligned in rows, thereby symbolizing the equality that prevails among all when they stand before God, with no differences between the rich and poor, black and white, or privileges of the ruler to the ruled. Moreover, causes Muslims reunite at least five times a day, strengthening, thus, the bonds of friendship, for example, to establish that the absence of someone who usually frequent these prayers, looking to see if it is ill or needs something. The obligation of prayer is on: 1 - Muslims, men and women, 2 - those who have reached puberty; 3 - those who enjoy full mental faculties. The preconditions for the validity of prayers are: 1 - Purification (both local where will perform the prayer, like the clothes with which we will pray, as our body through ablution or bath). One of the conditions for making the prayers is that the place where we are to pray without trace impurities. Similarly, the clothes with which we pray must be no traces of impurities. And in relation to our body, we must make ablution, which is a partial body wash as described in the following verse: "O ye who believe when you dispuserdes to observe prayer, cleanse your face, hands and forearms up to elbows, rub the head with wet hands and wash your feet up to ankles ... "(Quran 5:6) and will only have to renew it for the next sentence if the break. This happens in case of biological needs, if you have an injury, where the blood drips, sleep, fainting or loss of consciousness. There are situations where, instead of ablution, we have to take a full bath to perform the prayers. This happens in case of intentional or involuntary ejaculation after sex, the end of menstruation and postpartum relationships. "Believers, do not you bear to prayer when ye find him drunk, until you know what you say, nor when ye polutos by conjugal duty - unless you find him on the road - until ye have sanitized ..." (Quran 4:43 ) 2nd - Being inside the time for prayer: God has prescribed five daily prayers Muslims and determined their respective schedules, which are: 1 - The Dawn Prayer (which begins with the dawn of day and ends at sunrise). 2 - Prayer Noon (which begins when the sun reaches its highest point, with zero degrees in the shade and ends when the shadow is the same size of the object). 3 - The Afternoon Prayer (That starts when the shadow of the object is equal to its size and ends when the shadow becomes twice the object). 4 - The Prayer Sunset or Sundown, or Twilight (which begins with the sunset and ends with the disappearance of the red twilight or is that red light). 5 - Prayer of the Night (That starts when you extinguish the last reflected sunlight and ends with the break of dawn). Therefore, a Muslim is not allowed to do them before the entry of their respective schedules. "Observe proper prayer, because it is an obligation prescribed to the faithful to be fulfilled in due time." (Quran 4:103) And when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the most noble of actions said. "Prayer celebrated on its exact time" 3 - Being directed to Makkah: Muslims from all corners of the planet, in performing their prayers, turn toward Makkah, symbolizing thus its unity, and following the determination of God, the Most High: "Guiding your face (to fulfill the prayer) for the Sacred Mosque (in Makkah)! And you (believers) wherever you encontreis, guide your faces to it. " (Qur'an 2:144) About disregarding its direction should, by deduction, driving it for what seem to you the right one. Out of curiosity, early Muslims prayed directed to Jerusalem. Only in the second year of the Hijrah was ordained to the prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) change your direction to Makkah. 4 - The intent: The person should be with all his attention on his Lord, and with a sincere intention within your heart. 5 - And be dressed appropriately: Man must cover themselves at least from the navel to the knee, and the woman entire body except the face, hands and feet. Both should not use transparent or tight clothes that mark the body. Prayer is the first thing we'll have to give account on the Day of Judgment, as said in the prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "The first thing that man will be accountable, on the Day of Judgement will be prayer If (the prayers) were valid, all his work will be,.. themselves were defective, all his work will also be been " The practice of prayer redeems our sins, as we were told the prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "What if there was a creek pensaríeis before the door of someone, and that person is bathed five times a ? it Restar day you would any dirt And they said: Surely not He then said: It is the case of the five prayers, through which God removes all the sins you. " And in the Qur'an we have: "And observe prayer at both ends of the day and certain hours of the night, because good deeds nullify the bad message this there for those who remember.." (Quran 11:114) Muslims have a compulsory weekly prayer, which is the prayer of Friday, for all men and women who have reached puberty and are residents of a village. "O believers, when ye are summoned to prayer on Friday, have recourse to the remembrance of Allah and give up your business;. It would be preferable if ye know But once observed prayer, disperse in the land and seek you God's grace, and remember Allah much, that you may prosper However, when faced with trade or with the fun, disperse, running to them and leave you alone, Say unto them. What is related to God is preferable to the fun and commerce, Allah is the Best of providers. " (Quran 62:9-11) which is held at the time of evening prayer, in lieu thereof, which is accompanied by the realization of a sermon by the Imam, which consists of teaching, counseling and guidance to address problems that have occurred in this Meanwhile in society, or lessons related to Islam.                                                                                                                                                                                                                          3 - Zakat: It is an Arabic term which has no equivalent in our language, to have a number of meanings, among them: grow, increase and purification. Zakat was ordained by God in the second year of the Hijrah in the city of Madina. "And they were commanded to worship God sincerely, whether monotheistic, observe prayer and pay the Zakat, this is the true religion." (Quran 98:5) "Practical prayer, pay the obligatory charity and bow down with those who genuflect." (Quran 2:43) Zakat based on the thesis that money, wealth and all material goods, actually belong to God. God is therefore the true and rightful owner of everything in the Universe. "His is all that is in the heavens, what on earth, what is between them and what is under the ground." (Quran 20:6) The money is a gift from God that comes down to us as a grace, a divine kindness and a favor, being human, thus only a keeper, an incumbent and a user of these goods, with which God has bestowed on us. "Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and do love what He made you inherit. And those from among you, believe and do charity will get a great reward." (Quran 57:7) "He it is Who made you caliphs on earth and raised you about each other in the hierarchy, to test you with all that has given you. Thy Lord is swift in retribution, though it is Forgiving, Merciful." (Quran 6:165) Thus, the material goods that we shall be procured, distributed and spent the way He instructed us. Thus, the payment of Zakat is, above all, a way of thanking God for having bestowed on those goods. "His are the keys of the heavens and the earth; enlarges and restricts His grace to whom he pleases, because it is Omniscient." (Quran 42:12) Islam also states that the money a Muslim, their property and their properties are worth of the Islamic nation, because it established the unity of the same through the following verse: "And know that your religion is one and that I am your Lord. 'Fear me, then! " (Quran 23:52) While respecting the full possession, guaranteeing the legitimate Safeguard property and all rights arising therefrom. Zakat is in reality no more than distribute the assets of the Islamic nation (represented by the most affluent) to the same nation (represented by less affluent) because Islam requires that every Muslim possessing a possession within the limits stipulated for such should meet certain economic obligations for the benefit of the common good. Zakat is a social group with the right guy, not a favor but a duty. The goods that we are not only to be spent with our own comfort and luxury. "And in whose wealth there is an intrinsic part, to the beggar and the unfortunate." (Quran 70:24-25) obliges himself to pay the Zakat on 4 categories of goods: 1 - Gold, silver and money. 2 - Trade. 3 - What comes out of the earth like grains and fruits. 4 - About the herds of animals like sheep, camels and cattle. The index of Zakat varies with the property mentioned above, but in general comprises 2.5% 7. And if you pay the Zakat once a year with the exception of Zakat on fruits and grains that pay each harvest. Zakat, within the concept of Islamic jurisprudence, means the obligation of every Muslim who has reached puberty, be free and enjoy the full mental faculties and whose financial conditions are at or above the ceiling (nissab) specified, which is equivalent to 85g 595g gold or silver, remove corresponding to 2.5% of the amount not moved for 1 year after paid off all debts and satisfied all requisite needs of its owner and his family, to distribute to their rightful beneficiaries are described in this verse of the Holy Quran: "The alms (Zakat) are solely for the poor, for the needy, for employees employed in its administration to those whose hearts are to be won, for the redemption of slaves to indebted for the cause of Allah and for the traveler, it is a prescriptive rule of God, and Allah is Knowing, Wise. " (Quran 9:60) What will be discussed below: 1 - The poor Muslims - Are those in need who can not work or can not work. 2 - The needy Muslims - The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) featured the needy in this way: "No one who asks the other, satisfying the one or two pieces, one or two dates." Therefore, the need is one person who is not necessary and is not remembered for receiving donations and not looking to ask of others. Ie, can be a householder employee, but his salary so that it does not satisfy the needs of his family, and shame not go around asking people for help. 3 - The collectors of Zakat (staff employed in its administration) - Are the people in charge of making the collection, the collection and distribution of Zakat to their rightful beneficiaries. Soon, their salaries are paid with the money of Zakat. This only occurs in an Islamic State that performs this recovery, collection and distribution. 4 - Supporters of Islam - Muslims are not that nourish declared sympathy for Islam or recently converted to Islam, which, as a result of this conversion, suffer any hardship, such as loss of goods, employment etc ..., they are given the Zakat order to protect them. 5 - Freeing slaves - is aimed Zakat money in order to free themselves slaves or prisoners of war. 6 - The debt - are Muslims who do not have the resources to pay off their debts assumed due to the pressures of needs. 7 - In the cause of God - Covers everything will bring benefit to Muslims in social, economic and religious field. Both the collective and public interests. Eg: building schools, charitable hospitals, mosques, libraries, providing scholarships, investing in marketing activities and etc of Islam. 8 - The Muslim community - are those Muslims who are away from their home in a foreign country for example, and need help to return to their homes because they have been deprived of resources that allow them to return. And within those categories, to distribute the Zakat we must observe certain preferences. For example, if we have a poor while sick or invalid Muslim, it is preferable to give her Zakat than a poor Muslim, but able to be able to come to win something. Zakat intended for our dependents ie those people who have an obligation to support them if they do not have means to do so, as our parents, our children and our wives is prohibited. The details about the percentages, and the method of distribution and storage, are based in the Sunnah of the Prophet and his companions in practice. It is the duty of the Islamic State to fulfill its oversight role, collecting the Zakat of the Muslims who reached the ceiling pre - established for such, and make its distribution to its rightful beneficiaries. Thus, to be distributed by the State Zakat avoids the embarrassment of whom are now receiving in the absence of an Islamic State to fulfill this role, the obligation falls upon every Muslim, being it the function of pay and distribute it directly to the rightful beneficiaries or mosques or Islamic institutions to take responsibility in making such distributions. By making the distribution of Zakat directly to the needy, we must be careful not to humiliate or offend and follow the recommendation of God: "A kind word with forgiveness is better than charity followed by injury, because God is by itself, tolerant, Opulentíssimo. " (Quran 2:263) The believer should not fulfill his obligation to pay Zakat to satisfy your pride or achieve fame, but will have to do it as secretly as possible, to avoid becoming a victim of hypocrisy or passion for vanity, which nullifies all good deeds. However, if disclosure of the name of the person or of the amount paid by it, serve as a way to encourage and stimulate others to pay the Zakat, this procedure becomes commendable. Zakat must be distributed in the same location where it is collected in order to improve the situation of disadvantaged residing there. The various taxes we pay today the governments do not replace the payment of Zakat, because this is a religious duty. "Successful indeed are the believers, Who are humble in their prayers. Disdain What vanity What are assets to pay zakat." (Quran 23:1-4)                                                                                                                                                                                         4 - Fasting in the Month of Ramadan:      become mandatory, in 624, the second year of Hijrah. The following verses tell us your requirement and explain why, when and how fast:. 'O believers, prescribed for you is fasting as it was prescribed for your ancestors, so fear God Jejuareis certain days, but those of you not able to fast, thinking is ill or on a journey, will fast after the same number of days. But who, only at the cost of great sacrifice, can stick to it, were to break it, redeem themselves will, feeding a needy:.. though, who strive to do beyond what is required, it will be better but if you fast, is better for you, if you know it the month of Ramadan was the month in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for mankind and guidance and evidence of Discernment Therefore, whosoever of you witness the new moon of the month should fast,.. however, whoever is ill or on a journey will fast then the same number of days God wants you convenience and not the difficulty, but to fulfill the number (of days), and glorify God Have you walked by, so that (Him) thankful. " (Quran 2:183-185) As can be observed through the first part of the verses above, the practice of fasting is not something new, but that God had already prescribed to our ancestors. The obligation of fasting occurred in two stages: 1 - The option to choose between fast or to feed a needy, the preference for the act of fasting. 2 - The obligation of fasting, since without the possibility to choose between fasting or feeding of a needy. The Islamic Jurisprudence defines Fasting: Fasting is obligatory for every Muslim who has reached puberty and who enjoys perfect physical and mental health. Fasting in Islam is the refrain, from daybreak until the going down of the sun, eating any kind of food or beverages as well as smoking and sexual relations. The period of fasting may be higher or lower (since we use the lunar calendar which is mobile), depending on the month and season of the year in the solar calendar. Therefore, we fast sometimes in winter, short days and cold, others in summer, the long, hot days, and other times at intermediate periods. The exemption from Fasting occurs in the following cases: 1 - When a person is sick: If the person is ill, may stop fasting until you restore or if the doctor thinks that fasting hinders healing the patient, he should also stop fasting to heal and should not replace the fasted days, when in good health. This reset does not need to be taken immediately after the month of Ramadan, or continuously, and will have a deadline for this replacement until the last day before the beginning of the next month of Ramadan. 2 - The Traveller: When you travel a distance of 84 km, it provides the traveler-fast or not. This will depend on each person to examine whether the journey is tiring and so it will be a hardship for him to fast or not, must, in the same way as the previous item, reset the days not fasted. 3 - Pregnant women and breastfeeding: If the woman is pregnant, or breastfeeding, and fear for your baby, be exempt from fasting and should likewise not reset the fasted days past pregnancy or breastfeeding. 4 - The Elderly: What is physically unable to fast, for this fasting is not mandatory, leaving the elderly, if you have conditions, giving, for each day missed, a meal to a needy, or the equivalent of this meal . Otherwise, you are forgiven for not doing so. 5 - The menstruating or postpartum woman guard: She did not fast for this period until it passes. Even if she wants to, or feel that you can do it, it is prohibited fasting, and days not fasted, should be replaced after the season. 6 - In case of an incurable disease: A person ceases to fast definitely having to take a meal to a needy for each day missed, or the equivalent value of a meal, if you have conditions for it, otherwise it is not required to nothing. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) advised us to do the suhoor, a meal that is before the start of fasting, ie at dawn in order to alleviate hunger and thirst, helping us the daily fulfillment of fasting. Said the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "Take hold of Suhur because there is blessing in this act." On the other hand, guided us to break the fast immediately after sunset sunset without extend it. In this regard he said: "Thus said God Almighty Lord of Glory: Among my servants, I prefer one that is quick to break the fast." How to break the fast with water and dates, he said: "When someone breaks the fast, he should do it with a date If you have not, you should do it with water because it is pure and purifies the entire body.." If we analyze this recommendation from a medical standpoint, we see that the intestines absorb sweetened water in less than 5 minutes, thus providing the organism, the immediate recovery of lost during fasting, whereas if we fill the stomach with water and calories other foods, the organism would require 3 to 4 hours to render the same operation. The cancellation of fasting will occur if the person deliberately practice of these acts, knowing that it is a sin: eating, drinking, smoking, or having sexual intercourse. The atonement for this act will be the person to make a fast for 60 consecutive days for each day missed, or that you must feed 60 poor people. Even make such atonement, have lost many graces, as the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever break a day of fasting in Ramadan without excuse or illness, do not replace the fasting rest of your life, even if you do. " The sense since said that fasting is a day in the month of Ramadan is more valuable to God than fasting a lifetime. Now, if the person being sure of fasting and eats or drinks, remembering shall immediately stop the intake of food or drink and continue fasting, as this is still in effect. Said the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "When any of you eats or drinks, accidentally forgetting his fasting should continue fasting until the end, because (by eating or drinking cheating) means that God gave him to eat and drink. " Therefore, we have a true fasting exercise of faith. The act of staying hungry and thirsty is not in itself worship, but a means to accomplish true worship. True worship means quit violating the law of God, fear and love Him, seeking to carry out activities that He pleases, and restraining us how to please Him not, otherwise we are only causing unnecessary inconvenience to our stomach. Besides being a review, take stock of our lives where we must ask whether we are acting in accordance with what pleases God or not? Ask ourselves what we are doing to kill the hunger of those most in need? And we seek to correct our steps and attitudes in order to get closer to the maximum of what pleases God. Zakatul Fitr (The Charity breakfast): The head of the family must pay for it and their dependents, may be in groceries or cash, this value can not be lower than stipulated by religion. And must be paid to the poor and needy before the prayer of Id (festival), so that your fasting is complete and accepted. If you pay after this period will not be valid as charity breakfast, but as a good deed. Said the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). "Fasting the month of Ramadan is suspended between heaven and earth is only raised to heaven by zakatul Fitr." He also said: "Fasting the month of Ramadan will not be accepted without the zakatul Fitr." The purpose of zakatul fitr is to provide disadvantaged people the opportunity to participate in the celebration of breakfast, allowing him to make sweets or a better meal, may buy new clothes and toys for children. Making rich and poor can feel the joy of that day. Said the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "Relieve them of the need to leave behind charity that day." The Tarawih prayers in Ramadan of the Tarawih Prayers should be practiced only in the month of Ramadan, after the evening prayer. They can be practiced separately or in groups. And prayers are voluntary. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) made the group at the mosque in only 3 occasions because he feared that people become mandatory if they saw him praying in the mosque every day. The minimum number is eight genuflections, ending with a genuflection witr (odd).                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                5 - Hajj: The Pilgrimage to Makkah Pilgrimage is the fulfillment of certain rituals at specific locations and times. "The pilgrimage takes place in certain months." (Quran 2:197) What is the twelfth month of the Islamic calendar, the month of Zul Hija. It was established as the fifth pillar of Islam, in the year 6 AH. "... Pilgrimage thereto is a duty to God, by all human beings, who are able to undertake it;. However, who refuse to learn that God can dispense with all mankind" (Quran 3:97) The pilgrimage is an obligation only for those people who have reached puberty are free, sane, physically and financially able to undertake such a journey. The pilgrim should undertake the Hajj with lawful money, after settled all your debts and have enough left to meet the need of their family equivalent to the period for which will be out due to pilgrimage livelihood. they told the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "God is good and accepts only that which is good." He also said about who sojourns with illicit money: "... If the man from an unlawful annuity and call: Present, Lord I'm at your disposal, you will call the heavens a voice: We do not serve you or tell you well. Their sustenance is unlawful, their expenditure is also illegal and your pilgrimage is not virtuous. " Most of the pilgrimage rituals are based on acts committed by the Prophet Abraham's family (peace and blessing of Allah be upon them), when he was commissioned by God to rebuild the Kaaba with his son Ishmael (peace be with him). This shows that Islam is the religion of God and not a religion made by Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). For the rites of the pilgrimage and the standards have not been established by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), but by God, and is not linked to the person of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), or his life, but to Abraham (peace be upon him) and his son Ishmael (peace be upon him), showing thus the breadth and universality of Islam. Therefore, the pilgrimage is a service call that Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) addressed to all men, obeying the command of God. "And (remember) when We assigned to Abraham the place of the House, saying. Ascribe Not Me partners, but devotes My House to circumambulate, for those who remain standing and to bow down and prostrate And proclaim the Pilgrimage people, they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, from every deep ravine, to witness its benefits and invoke the name of God, in the days mentioned. " (Quran 22:26-28) The main elements of the pilgrimage: 1 - Al Ihram - It is the intention of fulfilling the pilgrimage. From the moment the pilgrim intends to begin the rituals of the pilgrimage, he wears two pieces of fabric, preferably white, eliminating thus the differences in culture and class among people, getting all equal before God. 2 - Al Tawaf - Consists of up seven times around the Kaaba, repeating it, which was done by the Prophet Abraham and his son Ishmael. (May the blessing and peace of Allah be upon them all). It is also like a reply, here on earth, the angels are constantly in Heaven, surrounding the throne of God, praying and worshiping him. 3 - Al Sa'i - Consists of travel the distance between the hills of Al Safa and Al Marwa seven times, repeating it with what was done by the wife of Prophet Abraham, Hagar, when searching for water for her son Ishmael. 4 - Jamarat - What is to repeat the same act done by the Prophet Abraham, when he was going to fulfill God's command to sacrifice his son Ishmael. 5 - The stop at Arafat - What is to be there from the evening of the ninth day until the sunset of the same day. Arafat is the only place in the accomplishment of the pilgrimage, in which all the pilgrims stand together in one place. Pilgrims spend these moments in prayer, asking God's forgiveness. We have at this moment an idea, a vision of what the Day of Judgment, where all human beings, after being resurrected, will be together waiting for trial. The pilgrimage to Makkah, is the largest annual convention of faith, the world's largest convention, held annually by Muslims of different nationalities, languages and styles. Islam since 1400 years realizes that such conferences were instituted of God, during which Muslims meet, meet, examine common issues relating to Islam and Muslims and by exchanging experiences of pilgrims on their return to their countries of origin are the other results of this exchange of experiences. As is also the largest conference regular peace that the history of mankind has ever known. During the pilgrimage can observe numerous benefits both individual and collective. As a practical manifestation of the true traits of universality of Islam, brotherhood and equality among Muslims. Its realization transcends the boundaries of place, language and color. Equating all rulers and ruled, rich and poor, where all are equal before God and the best the most pious. Soon we can see all with the same goal, to worship God in the way that best pleases. And during the pilgrimage we familiarized ourselves with the spiritual and historical environment in which lived the prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessing of Allah be upon him). Sayings of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) concerning Hajj: "Who fulfill the pilgrimage without saying anything objectionable and condemnable returns without committing anything like the day you were born" (ie pure sinless). '' The A Umra Umra, Makkah is the visitation that is made outside the period of the pilgrimage. It can be taken at any time of year, and the best time to do it is in the month of Ramadan because the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever Umra in the month of Ramadan is equivalent (in terms of reward) to make a pilgrimage to my Company (the Prophet). " The person doing the Umra is only part of the rituals that are performed in the pilgrimage. Al Masjid Al Haram (The Holy Mosque) The Holy Mosque, from the time that Abraham and his son Ishmael (the blessing and peace of Allah be upon them) rebuilt the Kaaba, was always a yard around the Kaaba, homeless built around, no walls surrounding it. Over time, we built a mosque which came suffering various magnifications, and today its area corresponds to 160,000 square meters. The Id-al-Adha (The Feast of Sacrifice) is the second feast of Islam, the first being the feast of breakfast. The Id-al-Adha is a reminder of the story of what would be the sacrifice of Prophet Ishmael, when his father, Prophet Abraham followed without hesitation the order of God, would sacrifice his son. God spared the life of Ishmael, sending it to sacrifice a lamb in its place, so it is part of the Sunnah, ie the practice of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) soon, it is advisable that every Muslim who is able to do so, slaughter an animal such as a sheep, ox or camel, and distribute part of their meat to the needy, so that in this day of celebration for all Muslims, those in need can also enjoy with largest her satisfaction.
